Proposals and coming updates

Our Call for Papers was a real success. We have received 472 submissions from all over the world, with the better part coming from central and eastern European countries as well as from the US, UK, Japan, and France. Applicants come from every experience level, with large numbers of current PhD students, postdocs, and professors at every stage. Chronologically, too, we are pleased to have received an impressive number of thought-provoking proposals from researchers specializing in the late Medieval, Early Modern and Modern periods.The strong presence of the European University Institute from Florence and the Central European University in Vienna underlines their role in contributing to innovative research on this region.

 

 

 

 

 

We are strongly indebted to our program committee for their support in building an attractive program from this many submissions. This will be accomplished by early March, notifications about acceptance and possible subsidies (link here) will be sent immediately.
